Marion Davies

Narodila se jako Marion Cecilia Douras v newyorském Brooklynu. Byla nejmladší z pěti dětí – měla tři starší sestry Rose, Reine a Ethel a bratra Charlese, který utonul, když mu bylo 15 let.. Její otec Bernard byl newyoyrským právníkem a soudcem. Sestry si později změnily příjmení na Davies, protože usoudily, že v New Yorku plném imigrantů bude lepší mít britsky znějící příjmení.
