Zcela unikátní kombinací komiksu, hororových i vědecko-fantastických filmů a romantických příběhů je ambiciózní projekt od producenta Hvězdných válek George Lucase a scenáristů Indiana Jonese. Howard T. Duck je kačer v kačeřím světě, který je téměř alternativní kopií toho našeho. Jednoho dne je vytržen ze svého pohodlí a i s křeslem přistane kdesi ve špinavých uličkách New Yorku. Seznamuje se s mladou zpěvačkou Beverly (Lea Thompson) a společně se snaží přijít na kloub tomu, jak dostat excentrického a osamělého kačera zpět domů. Na pomoc přispěchá potrhlý vědátor Phil (Tim Robbins), který společně s kolegy zjistí, že Howard byl náhodou přenesen jejich urychlovačem částic. Při dalším pokusu se do doktora Waltera (Jeffrey Jones) dostane mocná příšera z alternativního vesmíru, která jej nakonec ovládne a začne připravovat cestu svým příbuzným, toužícím obsadit celou Zemi. A kdo jiný může zabránit zničení našeho světa, než roztomilý bílý kačer s neodolatelným zobákem? (Řitka video)
