My top 5 movies of recent months:
1) "Dunkirk" - no explanation needed.
2) "Land of a Mine" - after WWII, German solders were taking out mines which they have previously planed during the war in Denmark. The story is about a Danish officer commanding a group of teenage Nazi solders. Out of fourteen, four survive.
3) "The Wizard of Lies" - a real-life story about Wall Street star Bernie Madoff who stole billions by cheating on his customers for decades. His family falls apart while learning what he has been doing for all those years.
4) "Drone" - CIA contractor operating drones is found (thanks to a Snowden-like leak of personal data) by a guy whose family was killed by a drone. He threatens to kill wife and son of this contractor back at their home in the U.S.
5) "Mine" - a two-man U.S. Army dispatch walks across the desert. First guy gets killed by a mine, second one sets his foot on what he thinks is another mine. He cannot move, so he has to wait for three days without moving before helps come. He thinks about his life, his father, his girl. Strong story.

2) Master Spy: The Robert Hanssen Story (2002): Docu-drama based on a real story when a senior FBI counterintelligence agent spent decades spying for the Soviets.
3) Hostile Waters (1997): Prior to 1986 Soviet-US presidential summit in Iceland, Soviet nuclear submarine faces on-board massive fire, threatening U. S. East coast. It really happened, while this movie makes the incident a result of a collision with a US submarine, which probably did not happen.
4) Shake Hands with the Devil (2007): Personal story of the Canadian general who tried to stop the genocide in Rwanda, while the world turned on a blind eye.
5) The Heavy Water War (2015): TV-miniseries about how the Allies successfully slowed the Nazi nuclear program during WWII. Real story.
