Nevinný okamžik (1996) 

Zábavná, metanaratívna film-terapia, miestami umne využívajúca dokumentárne prvky k silnému efektu. Fun fact - herec hrajúci starého policajta sa po prvýkrat objavil v Makhmalbafovom castingovom filme Salaam Cinema. 4.5*

Noc ohňů (2021) 

Fantastický film. Možno nie až tak zaujímavý ako Tempestad, a v spracovaní omnoho klasickejší, stále však silný a audioviozuálne nápaditý. Film podáva presne toľko informácií koľko treba, pristupuje k divákovi s rešpektom, je skvele odohratý, zasadený do príťažlivého prostredia a disponujúci mnohými vizuálne strhujúcimi scénami, ktorým nechýba sila (strihanie, práškovacie lietadlo atď.). Podprahový pocit toho, že sa každú chvíľu môže odohrať niečo znepokojivé dodáva filmu silné pnutie. Pritom nejde len o čakanie na zlo - film ukazuje aj krásne aspekty života detí, hoci v neľahkých podmienkach. Rozhodne tu nie je núdza o ľudskosť, a film je s protagonistami sympatický, no na situáciu v ktorej sa ocitli sa nepozerá jednoznačne, je si vedomý, že je komplexná. Takto si predstavujem podarený prechod do hraného filmu po 15tich rokoch tvorenia dokumentov. 4.5*.

Rychle a zběsile 9 (2021) 

Riadna sračka, a to mám hranicu tolerancie voči hollywoodskemu trashu nastavenú veľmi benevolentne. Jedna hviezda za zábavu s magnetmi. Patetické.
