Pre mňa jednoznačne najlepší filmový skladateľ všetkých čias, vďaka ktorého počinu v Levom kráľovi som sa vlastne po prvýkrát bližšie zoznámila s magickým a nádherným svetom soundtrackov. Hudba, ktorú vytvára je naozaj obdivuhodná, raz ma núti sa zamyslieť, raz ťahá do tanca, raz je smutná inokedy plná energie a je vskutku trestuhodné, že tak nadaný a tvorivý autor má zatiaľ len jediného Oscara. Navyše je Zimmerova tvorivá dieľna priam liahňou nových skladateľských talentov, či už je reč o Henrym Jackmanovi, Trevorovi Morrisovi, Marcovi Streitenfeldovi alebo mnohých ďalších. umelcoch. K najväčším hudobným zážitkom z jeho tvorby by som zaradila tieto :
