Její ochranitelský pud je umocněn pocitem viny, že si nedokáže vzpomenout na starý případ zmizení své sestry, která byla nedávno prohlášena za mrtvou. Když Enid dostane za úkol prohlédnout si znepokojivý film z archivu, v němž se vracejí její vlastní mlhavé vzpomínky z dětství, začne rozplétat záhadu a zjišťovat, jak toto děsivé dílo souvisí s její vlastní minulostí.
