Edge of tomorrow is movie with very interesting plot and it is based on attractive idea. Overall it has sympatic outlook. Dynamic editing between „today“ and „tomorrow“ is pushing the storyline towards the suprising ending, but after all it doesn’t really matter, because whole content has enough of power to make it up for every dissapointment. The essence of the principal motive is greatly disturbed and presented by main characters Cruise & Blunt, whos cooperation works well on the screen, so from the general point of view, it is fully loaded package with audiovisual cover, which is worth to watch.

Interesting low cost drama, which is focusing on small details in environment of the musical school, where you can feel the competitive atmosphere on almost every camera take. This film is partially about factors, which eventually lead human being beyond his limits and in this case it is in a field with smaller publicity then in sports or other. Big role in this story is playing teacher Terence Fletcher (J. K. Simmons), who can awake inner beasts from the pupil soul. Whiplash has enough of sharpness, simplicity and perfect music effects, so you can enjoy great edditing of shots and also exceptional acting from J. K. Simmons.

Anyway, the movie based on true story about life of Chris Kyle is catchy in a sense of cinematography. Audiovisual concept is very viewer friendly throughout whole time and the camera is patient, so there is no doubt about proper timing of pace in a storytelling line. The cuts between shots from USA (calm and steady) and Iraq (dangerous and full of action) are in a right balance. American sniper is suitable for induction of sentimental atmosphere and especially the material from real funeral in the final sequence of movie is quite an suitable ending. After all, it is hypocritical insight into the life of a man who is absolutely convinced of his actions, but at the same time American sniper is filmed as there should be only one point of view on world wide conflicts in connection with 9/11/2001 and decisions by involved goverments. This kind of propaganda of USA army actions with help of motion pictures is for american authors their own speciality in general, but to add some dispute, there is given no other option for viewing the „war in Iraq“. The direct documentation of cruelty and violent reality from the streets of Iraq and its post effects on the mind of professionally trained soldier is unfortunately lost somewhere in the fog, which is caused by one-sided point of view and that is the biggest weakness of this film.

Jednorázová, přímočará tvorba, která vměstnává do 85 minut, co největší počet klišé z života mladých lidí navštěvujících vysokou školu. Audiovizuální podoba dokresluje uvolněný a nezávazný styl života, přičemž tvůrcům se daří zachytit spontánnost, jaká je tomuto životnímu období vlastní. Vejška je vcelku potěšující překvapení a do jisté míry zábavná podívaná.

Dvanácti dílný seriál vyprodukovaný Českou televizí více či méně odráží to, co musí být i z nezainteresovaného pohledu na kvalitu jasné, protože nastavená úroveň v rámci televizní zábavy napříč všemi kanály na území ČR je tristní, respektive k vidění je hodně vyhozených peněz za málo muziky. Jednotlivé díly Vražd v kruhu oscilují mezi hranicemi totálního propadáku a průměrnou podívanou. Už samotný název je nanejvýš zavádějící, protože astrologie vstupuje do hlavního dění jen sporadicky a samotná postava Sabiny (Hana Vagnerová) nemá dostatek ambicí, aby dostatečně ztvárnila guru představující tento specifický obor, jenž má v konkrétních případech sloužit jako indicie k rozplétání vražd. Rafinovanost či zápletky vražd jsou při nejmenším plytké a do děje není většinou zakomponováno mnoho podnětů, pro které by stálo za to sledovat vyšetřování s výraznějším zájmem. Co se týče hlavních postav, které provázejí dějem vesměs ve všech dílech, tak bohužel nenabízejí chutnější návnady, které by zajistily hlubší empatii a nevzbuzují v člověku posun k větší pozornosti. Postava Majora Holiny (Ivan Trojan), který s nadsázkou působí jako šaman s nadpřirozenými schopnosti, jenž mají napomoct k vyjasnění způsobu vraždy, je postava s určitým potenciálem, ale naneštěstí malým prostorem pro hereckou invenci. Ostatní členové policejního sboru jsou nevýrazní a Rosťa Bor hraný Richardem Krajčem se svým nalepeným knírem je snad nejnevhodnější postava, která navíc vyčnívá svou nezáživností. Nejlepším dílem z celé řady by se dal označit Mrtvý v síti, a to pro svou zvlášť vyprofilovanou pointu. Nepochopitelné je to, že v seriálu je obsažena smrt jedné z hlavních postav, což už je svou neoriginalitou tak iritující a prázdné, že se není čemu divit, jaké seriál obdržel recenze. Pozastavit se dá také nad jinými věcmi, například: proč musejí být opakovaně použity pohyblivé záběry kamery zachycující postavy při konverzaci? Mají snad dodat akci, která seriálu chybí ve velké míře? Neustále se objevující se chyby ve střihu scén, nad kterými zůstává rozum stát. Nesmysly ve scénáři, nahrávají dojmu, že se jedná jen o projekt určený k vysávání prostředků pro veřejnoprávní televizi. V neposlední řadě je nasnadě, že zvolená délka dílů je zbytečně zdlouhavá.

O tom, jak se dá využít plachtění ve vzduchu v Californii a navíc je k tomu zajímavý komentář.
