Britský herec Andrew Lee Potts se narodil 29. října 1979 v anglickém městě Bradford, rodičům Alanovi a Sáře. Má jednoho sourozence - sestru Sarah Jane, která je také herečkou. Studoval na Leeds Performing Arts School a pak začínal hrát v divadle. Nyní je už zkušeným a protřelým hercem.
