V zimě roku 1952 britská policie dostala hlášení o vloupání do domu profesora matematiky a kryptoanalytika Alana Turinga (Benedict Cumberbatch). Namísto pachatele tohoto zločinu však v poutech odvedli samotného Turinga, který byl obviněn ze sexuálních přestupků a čekal ho zničující soudní proces. Téměř nikdo ze zúčastněných nevěděl, že jde o válečného hrdinu, který se spolu s týmem podílel na prolomení kódu legendárního německého šifrovacího stroje Enigma. The Imitation Game vypráví příběh matematického génia, který díky svému úžasnému talentu pomohl zkrátit 2. světovou válku a zachránil tak tisíce lidských životů. (Forum Film CZ)
