Řetězec podivných náhod zavede počítačového vědce Petera (Jason Segel) k tajemnému Jejuneovu institutu. Jeho charismatický ředitel Octavio (Richard E. Grant) slibuje Petrovi východisko z neviditelnosti a tichého zoufalství jeho každodenního života. Místo toho mu nabízí bránu k životu plnému magie, krásy a „božské nonšalance“. Peter se hry účastní. Ale je to opravdu hra? Je to alternativní realita? Nebo spiknutí, které usiluje o společenskou kontrolu? Společně se Simone (Eve Lindley), Janice (Sally Field) a Fredwynn (André Benjamin) se Peter snaží rozluštit znamení a symboly a dostat se na samotné dno tajemství institutu. (mac000)
