Dvojčata Frieda (Madeleine Collinson) a Maria (Mary Collinson) přijíždějí ke své tetě a svému strýci na venkov jako sirotci. Strýček Gustav (Peter Cushing) je členem klanu Bratrstvo, jehož členové pátrají po mladých dívkách, které se spolčily s ďáblem a následně je upalují zaživa. Obě mladé dívky se brzy dostanou do velkého nebezpečí, když se ukáže, že byla Frieda kousnuta upírem, který sídlí na nedalekém hradě. (montel)
