Jeho střela nikdy nemine cíl. Teď má na mušce Jamese Bonda. James Bond, nejlepší tajný agent Jejího Veličenstva, se ve své nové misi musí vydat na Daleký východ. Kdosi totiž poslal britské tajné službě zlatou kulku s Bondový číslem 007. Jediným, kdo ve světovém podsvětí zlaté projektily používá, je nájemný vrah Francisco Scaramanga, který si za každou zabitou oběť účtuje milion dolarů. Přes výrobce zlatého náboje se Bond dostane k čínskému průmyslovému magnátovi Hai Fatovi. Ten si totiž u Scaramangy objednal vraždu významného fyzika Gibsona, který u něj dosud pracoval na vývoji laserového děla s názvem Solex. Sám Hai Fat však brzy zahyne Scaramangovou rukou. Zabiják převezme jeho impérium a chystá se smrtící Solex využít pro své vlastní cíle. Jediný, kdo mu v tom může zabránit, je James Bond... (Česká televize)
