Skvěle obsazený katastrofický thriller plný napětí o tom, jak teroristé při přestřelce ve výzkumném ústavu rozbijí baňky s plicním morem a ukryjí se pak v mezinárodním expresu. Ten je izolován a má být odvezen do karanténního tábora... Mezinárodní zdravotnickou organizaci v Ženevě přepadnou teroristé. Postřelený strážný stačí zalarmovat ostrahu, jeden z teroristů však unikne. U druhého doktorka Stradnerová diagnostikuje vysoce nakažlivý plicní mor, kterým se nakazil v přepadené laboratoři. Pacient zanedlouho zemře. Terorista, kterému se podařilo uprchnout, se schová v transkontinentálním expresu směřujícím do Stockholmu – i on je s největší pravděpodobností nakažený. Případ vyšetřuje plukovník Mackenzie. Při kontrole seznamu pasažérů expresu zjistí, že ve vlaku se nachází též známý neurolog Jonathan Chamberlain. Plukovník se s ním zkontaktuje a pověří ho, aby zjistil, zda se terorista opravdu nachází v tomto vlaku. Jonathan se svou exmanželkou Jenny objeví teroristu ukrytého v zavazadlovém prostoru. Zdá se, že nákaza u něj už značně pokročila a protože se předtím pohyboval mezi cestujícími, u mnohých z nich se také začínají projevovat příznaky plicního moru. Situace je kritická. Mackenzie dostane příkaz odklonit vlak přes přejezd Cassandra do Polska, kde má skončit v karanténě. To by ale pro většinu postižených znamenalo smrt… (TV Prima)
