Nové Mexiko roku 1879. Vyschlá, neúrodná a krutá země ovládaná bandami zločinců. Místo, kde řádí nejproslulejší legenda Divokého západu Billy Kid. Billy Kid vedl zločineckou bandu během neslavné války v Lincoln County. Nyní je Lincoln County v rukou nemilosrdných dobytkářských baronů a zkorumpovaných mužů zákona. Právě si najali Billova bývalého přítele Pata Garetta, aby ho dostal za mříže. S Garettem v patách se Billy dává opět dohromady se svými kamarády-zločinci Docem, Chavezem a Arkansas Davem. Společně bojují proti chlapům s rychlými kolty a zabijákům, aby si prostříleli svou cestu osudu.
