Damien přestává být chlapcem a je na čase, aby poznal svou moc... Damien, který je ve skutečnosti vtělením samotného Satana, vyrůstá po smrti svého adoptivního otce v rodině jeho bratra, bohatého průmyslníka Richarda Thorna. S blížícími se třináctými narozeninami odchází studovat na prestižní vojenskou akademii, kde se pod vedením oddaného Satanova služebníka dozvídá pravdu o svém osudu. Temné síly mezitím likvidují každého, kdo by mu mohl stát v cestě... V pokračování slavného prvního dílu se pozornost od jeho okolí obrací k samotnému Damienovi, který si postupně začíná uvědomovat, kým je. Mladého muže na prahu dospělosti pozoruhodným způsobem ztvárnil Jonathan Scott-Taylor, v roli jeho strýce vystupuje hvězdný William Holden a ve filmu se v jedné ze svých prvních významnějších rolích objevuje Lance Henriksen.
