Je 10 let po otřesný událostech v Haddonfieldu. A Michael je pod dozorem nemocnice (celý spálený z Halloweenu II), odvážen v komátu, do nemocnice s vyšší ostrahou, ale cestou... V Haddonfieldu zbyla z jeho rodiny pouze jedna osoba, a to malá Jamie - neteř Michaela Myerse. Po nehodě sanitky, která Myerse převážela, se na plátno vrací ostřílený veterán Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence), který nehce aby se neteř setkala s nožem svého strýce. A tak začíná tichý a krvavý boj s typickou hudbou, ale s velmi netypickým koncem. Film dostal 2 studenské ocenění a řadí se mezi klasické vyvraždovačky 80. let. (Empire)
